Syd is an online English teacher from the UK. After finishing his first degree in Humanities, he got certified in teaching-English-as-a-foreign-language and moved to Spain. He spent 6 years working as a classroom teacher before returning to the UK. In 2018, Syd completed a masters degree in Poverty and Development at the renowned Institute of Development Studies. His research focussed on the role that buzzwords play in shaping the international response to emerging global problems like rising inequality and climate change.
